Musim panas is the most popular time to visit Kildare. Over June, July and August, the number of visitors increases, as people arrive from overseas to travel while the weather is warmer. With the forests and countryside lush and full of life, and the landscape in full bloom, summer is the perfect time to enjoy boat trips down the canal, go hiking and laze away an afternoon in a beer garden.
If you would prefer to enjoy sunny days, but with fewer crowds, the best time to go to Kildare is in musim bunga. From March to May the weather is getting warmer – but the crowds have thinned out. Explore the outdoors bustling with colour and life with mild days and plenty of fresh air.
Semasa musim luruh, the tourism season is winding down, meaning a less busy time of year to explore the wild landscapes of Kildare, perhaps even getting some of the more popular spots to yourself. Autumn weather can be a bit of a wildcard – we usually get a few nice weeks in September. Note that October is statistically the wettest month, but it’s also Halloween and when the true majesty of the autumn landscape starts to show its colours.
Irish musim sejuk is characterised by short days and long nights, but in the run up to Christmas you can’t beat the festive spirit in the air. Wrap up warm and go for an exhilirating hike and then wind down with a Guinness in front of the fire in a cosy pub.
